We purchased our first Foxtrotter in 1978 at an auction. We had no intention of buying a horse but we were the opening and closing bid. He was only 2 and green broke. When we got him home we found him very gentle and easy to work with.
I was only able to ride him once or twice before everyone else claimed him. I then purchased another trotter and still I ended up on the non-gaited horses. I sold all of the non-gaited horses and have only had foxtrotters since that time.
We decided to start breeding and raising our own using the best bloodlines in the breed. We are home to champion show horses and sensible trail horses.
